My Grandfather was an amazing man who lived life to the fullest and was strong. I will always remember him as an active man who despite his old age continued to live life as excitingly as he could. I will remember seeing him walk around Greenwich; even when he was getting very old and we went to visit him, he’ll still be out on his neighbourhood walks. I will remember his faith in God and how he was always interested in Christian theology and history, reading books about the Bible. I will remember how we went with him to his Church, which was great. I will also remember his interest in me, my siblings, and cousins. I will remember how he will give us gifts and will talk to me about my interests such as playing rugby, my participation in Army Cadets, my fascination with history and politics. I remember when he gave me a World War Two, book which I still own. I will remember how during his darkest days, when he was ill, he tried to continue be strong but unfortunately, he couldn’t and he is now with the Lord. I will remember him forever. Rest in peace Grandad. Daniel Aina
